Our company originated in 1982. Working out of a 2-car garage, we began with electrical panel and mechanical assembly, and quickly expanded into custom automation design services, field service and system commissioning. McKinley/Hill incorporated in 1988, and made significant expansions in 1989. We added prototype machines and specialty tooling to our business, acquired St. Paul-based VS Systems, Inc., and worked closely with Electric Machinery Company on magnetic drive coupling controls for use with large horsepower fans and pumps.
In 1996 we moved to our current facility, which was designed by McKinley/Hill staff to accommodate our specific tasks in automation controls. Today, we are a full-service integrator, providing concept, design, assembly, field service, commissioning, and testing services. We have been a 3M company approved vendor since 1989. We pride ourselves on quality custom work and quick turnaround.
